Jennifer Aniston was born in Sherman Oaks, California on February 11, 1969. She is the daughter of Greek-American actor John Aniston and actress Nancy Dow. She spent most of her childhood in Greece with her family, but then moved to New York City. In 1989, Aniston moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue an acting career.
She was shortly cast in television roles such as the TV series Molloy and TV movie Camp Cucamonga. Aniston considered quitting after a failure of shows and movies. Her plans soon changed as she was cast as Rachel Green in the new TV sitcom Friends.
They later moved to New York. Jennifer’s father had to struggle a lot to find work. He found work on the NBC soap Days of Our Lives. But after three years his character was written off. He then struggled to find work, moving the family to Greece for a year then finally settling in New York. Jennifer’s mother Nancy was also an actress but quit the profession as she did not feel comfortable doing it. She was more into modeling.
Tragedy struck their family when Jennifer’s parents decided to separate. Jennifer was most affected by this as she was the youngest. Her older step brother, John was nine years older to her. Jennifer attended the Rudolf Steiner School. She constantly got into trouble in school as way of acting out the pain that was caused by her parent’s divorce. She thought her constantly being in trouble would someday bring her parents back together. Jennifer Aniston and actor Brad Pitt married in July 29, 2000. They divorced in 2005. She has since been linked to half of the men in Hollywood.
